Time Brought Age.

Beat LA.

"Self-confessed music nerds and stalwarts of the Los Angeles music scene, the trio began making calls to their friends. The result is Beat LA, a collection covers by current LA artists featuring songs written by alternative, punk and rock musicians of the past that helped defined the LA-sound. “We’ve managed to pull together an amazing cross section of underground music in Los Angeles and are excited that this compilation will be a true document of our music scene,” says Spalding."

Waiting For Paris.

Like Jim Morrison, I dream to one day go to Paris to work on my writing and poetry. Even how cliche it is, the inspiration Paris would provide is an opportunity I can not resist. Hopefully one day I can fulfill this dream. In the meantime I can only admire the joy that Jim and Pamela had before his tragic death.

Electric Death Song.

A pretty cool sneak preview of  Crocodile's newest work in progress. "Electric Death Song"  is stated to be off of their next record which the band says will be recorded sometime in September. The song itself fits well with Croc's slower songs, i.e. "Here comes the sky", and "All my hate and hexes are for you." The softer side of most of their music that possesses the gentle melody's fused with often haunting, chilling lyrics that the band is known for. Can't wait to hear this on record. Their previous venture, Sleep Forever is out now on Fat Possum.

Line By Line.
