"Here come the tears, but like always I let them go" Thats the powerful hook to Kristian Matsson's "Love Is All". To be compared to the likes of Bob Dylan, one has to take the comparison into perspective. Dylan, a voice of generations, a voice of youth, and change. Well thats exactly who Matsson is being compared to. (The Tallest Man On Earth) has released his newest album The Wild Hunt. His first release from Dead Oceans, is by far his best. The Scandinavian shy child has made a record that is something that must be discussed. and be listened to rapidly. Already gaining massive amounts of critical praise, the musician is still relatively unknown to most music fans. but that just how I like it, His music is the kind that you treasure and selfishly want to be the only one listening to. The Wild Hunt is a more epic sincere and genuinely more personal then his previous record, and surpasses in every region. Matsson has evolved as a musician, even as a man with his most recent venture, the evolution is exciting even exhilarating to see and hear. From open to end the the record gets better and better, the amount of quality in it will keep you busy for days having it stuck in your mind. Kristian Matsson spews out every word with pain and energy, he creates an atmosphere and back story for each song. You can see him stomping around the rain forest with his leather boots, kissing his love at the airport terminal, running away from his homeland to discover the ever changing sun. .In search of the Wild Hunt.
Have fun at the show! :D
